Beihouse emerged from the ashes of the 2020 Beirut explosion, a project born out of love for a city that has endured immense challenges. With a mission to blend tradition and modernity, Beihouse reflects Beirut’s energy, offering a space where culture, cuisine, and community come together to create unforgettable experiences.

Chef Tarek Alameddine is a culinary storyteller envisioning Lebanese cuisine through a modern, personal lens. Raised in Aitat, Lebanon, his early foraging and preserving traditions instilled a deep respect for nature. After training at Les Roches and the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts in Jordan, he staged at D.O.M. before spending six and a half years at Noma in Copenhagen as sous chef under René Redzepi. Recognized by MENA’s 50 Best during his time in Egypt, he has since returned to Beirut to partner with Beihouse, where his menus reimagine tradition through innovation. Today, he continues to push boundaries with fermentation projects & lab, and international collaborattions, reaffirming food as a powerful medium for cultural expression.
